ECO

Our tea towels are made in the UK, and are ethically produced, and digitally printed using eco-friendly materials and inks. These digital inks conform to Oeko-tex standard 100, meaning they contain no harmful chemicals. This process produces much brighter colours compared with pigment printing.

Our fabrics are coated, printed, steamed and washed and then cut to size, hemmed and sewn by our in-house team of seamstresses.

They are then folded and secured by British-made twine at Fox & Boo HQ.

Please note that when printing onto naturally formed cottons, there may be an element of flecking within the fabric. This is due to the nature of the fabric and out of our control.

Our print partners R&D department investigated the inks and found that with a 99,99% certainty, all of the materials that we use in the production processes of our inks are synthetic animal products are used.

Our cotton comes direct from the mill of our manufacturers in Pakistan who are BCI members.

The Better Cotton Initiative is the world’s leading sustainability programme for cotton, helping cotton communities to survive and thrive, whilst protecting and restoring the environment.
