These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.foxandboo.com ("the Site") and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before ordering.

This Site is operated by Lisa Fox, trading as Fox & Boo ("we", "us", "our").

1. Contacting Us

For order queries, cancellations, or any other question, email us at foxandboo@icloud.com . If we need to contact you, we'll use the email, phone number or postal address you gave us at checkout.

2. Using This Site

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By using the Site, you agree not to:
  • use it for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law
  • transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
  • attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Site
  • scrape, spider, or copy Site content without our permission
  • harass, abuse, or discriminate against others in any content you submit to us

We may update the Site, its content, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Our Products

  • Product images are for illustration. We take care to show colours accurately, but screens vary, so actual colours may differ slightly — see our Colour Disclaimer for more detail.
  • Colour names used in product titles and descriptions (e.g. “Vintage Aqua”, “Antique Rose”) are descriptive only, intended to evoke a tone or style. They are not a precise or literal indication of the actual colour, and shouldn’t be relied upon as such.
  • Sizes, weights, and dimensions have a 5% tolerance.
  • Packaging may vary slightly from images shown.
  • We may correct pricing or description errors at any time, including after you've placed an order — in which case we'll contact you before processing it further.

4. Placing an Order

  • Our order process lets you check and correct your order before submitting it.
  • You'll receive an email confirming we've received your order — this is not acceptance.
  • A contract is only formed when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email.
  • If we can't fulfil your order (out of stock, pricing error, etc.), we'll let you know by email and refund any payment already taken.

5. Price and Payment

  • All prices are in GBP. We are not currently VAT registered.
  • Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £5 per order; orders of £45 or more qualify for free delivery. Delivery charges are shown clearly at checkout.
  • Payment is taken in advance, by any of the major cards and payment methods shown at checkout.
  • Prices may change from time to time, but never on an order you've already placed.

6. Delivery

  • We aim to deliver within the timeframe stated at checkout. If none is stated, delivery will be within 30 days of order confirmation.
  • All orders are sent by tracked delivery; you'll receive tracking information once dispatched.
  • Delivery is deemed complete once tracking confirms it. If you believe an order hasn't arrived despite tracking confirmation, contact us within 7 days so we can investigate with the courier.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or postal service once an order has been dispatched, or for non-delivery due to an incorrect address given at checkout.

We do not currently offer international shipping due to repeated delivery issues outside the UK.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Full details of your right to cancel, our returns process, and refund timelines are set out in our Refunds and Returns Policy Please refer to that page. It forms part of these Terms.

8. Our Liability

  • We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaching these Terms or acting negligently — not for loss that isn't foreseeable.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection Act 1987.
  • Products are supplied for personal, domestic use only. We're not liable for any business loss (loss of profit, business interruption, etc.) if you use them commercially.

9. Events Outside Our Control

We're not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. extreme weather, industrial action, courier network failure, natural disaster). If this continues for more than 30 days, you may cancel any affected order for a full refund.

10. Wholesale and Trade Orders

If you're a stockist or trade customer, separate Wholesale Terms & Conditions apply instead of the consumer terms above.

11. General

  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation without affecting your rights.
  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • These Terms, and any contract between us, are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction (residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their home courts).
