Colour Management

Colour is our passion and we strive to perfect our colour management across our range of products. We work calibrate our machines regularly, use colour print profiles and Pantone references, and supply these to our print partners with the artwork, so that our products can be colour matched. It has taken us over four years to find print partners that are as passionate about colour as we are, who go to great lengths to colour match our products. However some things are beyond our control... read on.

Printing Techniques

Printing techniques vary depending on our partners and on the product, and different substrates tend to absorb ink at different rates, for example our faux suede fabric is softer and absorbs slightly more ink than our faux linen, therefore the colours are more saturated and appear bolder. Linen is also a more classic, matt finish, so although we can still say our designs look wonderful in whichever fabric you may choose, if you stand the two fabrics together, you would see a slight difference. The same can be said for matching a particular colour on a glass chopping board and a cotton tea towel, it is difficult but we think, with the help of our partners we are the best that we can be, it's taken a long time to get where we are, but we are confident that you will not be disappointed.

Colour Monitors and Devices

Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, the colour of our products may appear different on different monitors. Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally, if at all and colour reproduction on the Internet is not precise.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of the products we carry and that appear on the website, but since it is not possible to guarantee our online product images will look the same on all computers, we cannot guarantee that what you see on your device accurately portrays the colour of the actual product.
